Cecile is a young Rwandan woman who enjoys reading, especially the Bible, watching movies and listening to music. Since January of 2018, she has been a passionate teacher, counselor, and mentor for the Hope Shines children and overall has been a teacher in some form since graduating high school in 2013. Cecile continued her passion and graduated with honors from the University of Rwanda as a trained teacher. Cecile was orphaned at a very young age and as a result of that background, she draws from her experiences to mentor and nurture the youth in Rwanda with patience, empathy and respect. She is also a proud member of the Imbuto Foundation mentorship program and her role model is His Excellency Paul Kagame because of his visionary leadership. She also looks up to Rwandan First Lady Madam Jeannette Kagame and former Rwandan minister of Foreign affairs Madam Louise Mushikiwabo for being strong, intelligent and visionary women. Her mentor is Madam Angelina Muganza, the President of Rwandan Association of University Women (RAUW).
