[accordionItem title=”Murari Phillip” icon=”icon-gears”]
Phillip has been with Hope Shines since 2009 initially serving as a staff translator and subsequently was instrumental in helping Hope Shines partner with our second orphan center in SINAPISI! We are happy to announce that Phillip joined our Hope Shines Team in 2014 as our official Country Manager helping Hope Shines expand our in-country programs and be our voice in Rwanda when we are back in the USA.[/accordionItem]

[accordionItem title=”William Bahati” icon=”icon-truck”]
William is our on-the-ground coordinator and chaperone. He knows Rwanda better than anyone else because he was born there! William has been driving the Hope Shines team around Kigali since our inception, and now that he owns his own travel agency, we depend on him more than ever! William is not only our chaperone, driver and friend he is there to negotiate prices for goods at the market, impromptu “Tour Guide” whenever driving us around the city and drives around Kigali looking for all the last minute supplies necessary to run our curriculums. Hope Shines is ever grateful for William![/accordionItem]

[accordionItem title=”Staff Translators” icon=”icon-group”]
Generation Rwanda finds the country’s brightest students that can’t afford university, funds their education, and trains them to become leaders in Africa’s emerging economy. Our translators and tutors are hand picked and a part of the Generation Rwanda program. Our translators, over the years, have transformed into much more than just translators, they are local mentors to our children as they are orphans themselves and have succeeded in life despite their past struggles. They are integral to our camps and our programs and we are very fortunate to have such amazing role models for our orphans.[/accordionItem]
