Laura is a senior director at ADP responsible for business risk and compliance. Prior to her position with ADP, she held board appointed positions including chief compliance officer, global chief anti-money laundering officer, and global sanctions officer. She has 20 years of compliance and risk experience in highly regulated industries.
While residing in Cairo, Egypt to pursue her master’s work in International Law and Human Rights, Laura travelled extensively throughout Africa and the Middle East. There she engaged with local communities, leaders and organizations learning first hand the impact they could have on access to medical services, education and local government. She joined the Hope Shines’ Board of Directors in November 2019.
Laura is certified in Compliance and Ethics (CCEP) as well as Conflict Resolution and Negotiation. She is a member of the Society of Compliance and Ethics, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists. She resides in Austin, TX with her husband, 2 children and way too many pets.
